clean up

it's the first time i've seen the surface of my desk in eons...
look at all those wires
i am so old skool

and the cleaning continues
and it's helping bit

back to this...
i always feel as if i am punishing them
turning their faces to the wall
but it's not about that really
it's about making a space where i can see with fresh eyes
which is what i need to do
to go forward

you can not believe the number of flies and spiders i have swept up...

cleaning

when work leaves the studio
i usually take that opportunity to clean up a bit
so today i
scraped down my palette,
washed my brushes,
swept about 1/2 a cat off the floor
along with a good amount of dead leaves from the garden that come in on oski's fur
everything feels rather inviting
for when i return after thanksgiving

kind of wanted to post this here today instead of on flickr

clean up

days & days interrupted
today will be the last
cleared most things
off my plate
off my desk
&
out of the clutter of my mind
i MUST simplify things
