i think it's that the concept is not yet fully realized

25 years

25 years ago...
it's been a long time
with quite a few bumps
but it's very real

purpose, process, product

thinking a lot about purpose, process, product;
the intent behind making work
how that gets executed
and what gets produced

the intent is the driving force
the execution is the journey
what gets produced is the manifestation of the intent in public

i am really trying to understand this in terms of how the internet has become a part of this chain,
how does it effect each link in it
i feel a refinement is needed
that it is time for it to stop being a phenomena
and become a tool

the top photo was taken yesterday, this is really today's image
it is a construction derived from a scan;
i did a lot of scanning today
and a fair amount of "catching up"
